So you think you’d like some Video or Motion Graphics to help with your company’s marketing. Congratulations, you’ve made an important decision that can truly impact your company’s bottom line. So, what’s next? The outline below is the process we follow while developing Video & Motion Graphic work. Of course every job is different, so this is a loose representation of our process. But we hope it helps give you an idea of what’s involved. - The client contacts Rare Method, and asks for the Video & Motion Graphic Department.
- The client speaks to a Rare Method representative who takes vitals, discusses the project concept, and schedules a meeting with the client and the creative team.
- After a tour of our facilities, and introduction to the team, the project is discussed and budgetary parameters and creative scope are developed for the job.
- Creative concepts are drawn up, and a rough outline of the script is developed for the client’s approval.
- After the script approval, a Shot List and/or Storyboards are drawn up. A Production Schedule is developed. The client approves the Production Schedule.
- Talent and crew are organized; locations are scouted and studio bookings (if required) are made. Pre-Production is finalized.
- Production begins, implementing pre-determined locations, Sound Stages, or our own In-House Studio.
- A Rough Edit is completed with rough sound mix and loose edits. Motion Graphics, if employed in the project, will be completed at this time as outline, storyboards or shot list indicates. The Rough Cut is then reviewed by the client.
- Any necessary changes are made. The client approves the Rough Cut.
- The Final Sound Mix and any additional edits are completed.
- The client approves the Final Cut. The picture is locked. We then master the final to whatever medium the client requires.
- The client receives awards and accolades from colleagues and associates for doing such a great job on the marketing initiative.
